Wow, I would love to see Shirakawa-go in the Spring or Summer one day ^^

I've stayed in three of the huts there. They are all unreal.
There is an onsen hostel that you can stay in as well if you prefer something more like a hotel. There is also a pretty awesoem Osen Ryokan just out of town called Fujiya.
