Vazago Morax was the final High Priest of Moltor and leader of the Mol'anath cult 630 years ago. With legions of fanatical followers, Morax held more power than the two emperors he ruled alongside, pulling the strings of the withered old tyrant, Absolom Hargrave, and his son Uriah during the Coalition War.

A powerful biomancer and imposing politician, Morax came to power in a cult worshiping perfection despite his mutilated face through the tactical use of fear and bribery. His hold on the Thousand Isles was all but unquestionable until his own personal assassin, Ariane Faulken , betrayed the Mol'anath and led the Coalition Alliance in a miraculous series of naval victories, killing Absolom Hargrave in battle.

With Uriah Hargrave propelled to the throne, Morax found the willful and arrogant man all but impossible to control and with his orders constantly questioned, the Mol'anath fell to infighting even before the final battle at Corinith.

Morax fell in the siege, killed by Faulken and the rebel biomancer Cerion Archer while defending the throne room of the Granite Citadel, choosing death over defeat.
