Eldest child of Absolom Hargrave , Uriah ascended to the throne of Corinith upon his father's death despite the protests of the Mol'anath High Priest Vazago Morax , fearing that the impulsive and undisciplined young man would be difficult to control. Refusing to abdicate the monarchy in favor of a fully religious state, Uriah demanded both loyalty and vengeance against the Coalition Alliance, specifically against Ariane Faulken and Cerion Archer who he blamed for his father's defeat.

Though engaged in a political marriage to the Mol'anath Priestess Gremory Rayne, Uriah rarely showed any interest in the Faith of Moltor or pursuing the Mol'anath's goals of biological perfection, instead amusing himself with more savage displays of his own power over criminals and servants alike.

When the Coalition Alliance finally arrived at Corinith, it was Uriah's rash deviation from Morax's battle plans despite his wife's urging that has largely come to be blamed for the breaking of the naval defenses in the Bay of Spears and the siege of the Granite Citadel. Uriah surrendered when Ariane Faulken agreed to spare his life, though he was soon banished from the newly founded Imperium of the Thousand Isle for the rest of his life, eventually dying alone as an old and broken man on an unnamed rock.
