WOW, I finally drew something!
The truth is, though, this started off with a random one-line scribble sketch of Vent. I was about to abandon it, like the many other WIPs I have in my files, but then it somehow turned into this. Works for me!
I suppose you could say that something bad is going to happen to these guys.

The composition is hella dynamic and Vent looks like such a badass!
The colouring really adds to the whole atmosphere too ( , you were right - it does bring to mind JoJo and Gurren Lagann)!
I do wonder what's going to happen to them though... Can't wait to find out!

Ayyy you are back, I can relate, many of my favourite drawings started as a random sketch.
I really like the transition from green to yellow, kinda reminds me of those scenes from Jojo's where the colors suddenly changes depending on the mood of the scene I think. Aile looks kinda evil

The green and yellow transition was actually caused because the shading layer was a navy blue Multiply layer under a yellow Darkened layer. I've been trying to use blending layers other than Hard Light and Overlay, so I think it's safe to say that the Darkened layer can be used just as well as the other two.

Hmm those closed eyes and expression... I think that whoever she is looking at should be the one worried.
Yeah, it feels more natural than having an overlay layer to be honest (changing to another hue looks better, like in this case), it's an interesting coincidence too, the yellow meeting the blue creating green in some point but leaving a portion of yellow making a nice looking green-yellow illumination (at least that's what I think happend).
