Some people will say contact cement or superglue. I use hot glue since it is not toxic

I guess the real question is: When EVA foam gets hot, does it emit toxic fumes? Food for thought.
I've used hot glue on EVA and Upholstery foam and I haven't had any issues that I'm aware of.
