Description
Ever since their chance meeting Aina and Nuka had a connection. Her being a black sheep in Simbas pride despite being the queens cousin; and Nuka being left behind with his own pride. Due to the war they were only able to meet in secret. Twilight meetings once every few weeks when there was a shift in the night guard in the Pridelands.
Their chance meetings grew into more and more; and at a point Aina decided to meet with Rafiki to confirm her suspicions. After having the Shaman promise her that it was all confidential she sought out Nuka while he was patrolling the borders of each land.
"You're positive??? The monkey checked you over and you and the cub are healthy?" He was ecstatic with the news. Growing up knowing no real love until Aina; always thinking he would never have a happy family. This was his chance, he would make this right and do this right. "Don't worry, we won't have to meet in secret for much longer. Just keep yourself safe and avoid any signs of trouble; stay near that rock thing."
"What do you mean? Are you going to charge Priderock and take it over in the name of Nuka?" Aina giggled to herself, but deep down she knew she probably wasn't far off. If the stories that Nuka told of his mother and pride were true the crazy lioness wouldn't blink before charging into an unplanned battle.
"Something like that." Nuka smiled. He snuggled up to his mates growing tummy. "I promise to treat you like the gift you are. Daddy will always be with you."

And so the destroyer of flamingos was born. Despite not having Nuka there to father her Umigi grew up knowing how loved she was with her aunts and uncle and stand in grandparents showering her with affection.
