Hello and as you may have figured on one hand this goes through but at the same time I would like to repay you the wonderfull comment you have given me and at the same time applaud you for this awesome piece. Not only it is Patrick Bateman, one of my all time favourite bizzare killers from pop culture horror but it opens this weird possibility of an alternate universe where he would become president. When you think about it, it really is not that far fetched, thus why I like it. He has the Money, the reputation, inteligence and charizma so why not?Β Now to the artistic portion of the piece. So the color contrast of almost hellish warm colours on Patrick, even more insinuated by the amazing grin he has and the holding of the nuke button. And behind him in the shadows and cold pasive colours are all those who are unable, don't want to,Β or don't have enough courage to opose him or stop him. Such a briliantly structured scene and I don't know, and it really does not matter but the fact that the american flag is overshadowed by the sheer presence of Patrick makes this Picture that much better Β All and all awesome job, I love this sort of caricature style and the political as well as horror implications. My one gripe would be the quality of the Picture itself which I would say that the drawing deserves better but at the same time I do understand from personal experience as well how hard it is to get a good medium (scanner, camera) with which to capture and digitize the finished work, in order to submit it here. Stay inspired and take care.

Thanks! I was inspired by Bateman's ending monologue, 'I do not hope for a better world for anyone. In fact, I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape.' It certainly sounds like he's ready to escalate his cruelty, and getting his hands on the world's most powerful military, along with its tanks, drones and nukes would be a logical step in that direction. Making Luis his VP was a natural choice as I figure Bateman would want a patsy he could easily manipulate (Although he'd quickly grow to detest the endless meetings, press calls and hearings they'd have to spend together). In the book he suspects one day he'll end up married to Jean, and unfortunately for the poor woman his prophecy came true. As for Bigfoot, that bit's straight out of the novel, along with a talking cheerio and a park bench that stalks him around the city.Β
