Description I started this picture AGES ago, and finally finished it last night. I got the vauge idea when I read Sashas [link] muse contest. If any of you know about it, yes, I know, it ended a really long time ago. XP But yeah! This is my muse! And my ideas are a lot like trying to blow bubbles. See, 'cause ometimes I have a million ideas at once, and its impossible to catch them all. But sometimes, when I try too hard, I can't get anything.

She is wearing a Hakama, Japanese pants. Did yu know they were originally used as a school uniform? Now they use it as graduation ceremony outfits. How pretty!

Photoshop CS2: 22-ish hours???
Layers: Over 600, but I merged a lot of them down

Only two comments on this gorgeous picture? SACRILAGE!

Its absolutely gorgeous - and so imaginative. I love the colours so much because they all jump out at me. I really love the girl too.
And I commend you for the 600 layers. I can't even work PS

Beautiful! I adore the lines of her clothing, especially her lineless sleeves. You always do such pretty things with a minimal palatte.

Her eyes have a really unique look to them, which I really like. I think it's the pale irises.

Also, I love her shoes. Dare not overlook the shoes.

And finally: 600 Layers.

600.

TML's average amount? Less than 10. Usually, 2-5.

I am such a lazy sot!

But this is lovely, and I still love it even if it does pwn me.

Very lovely. Did you know it's very hard to get your hands on one of those old school uniforms now a days? I was trying to find one to add to my kimono collection, but they are so difficult to find...

Back to the drawing, very nicely done! I like how each bubble has a different design in it. I also like the patterning on the kimono. I also like the gradation (I know that spelling isn't right) on the kimono. The patterning on the sleeve is very nice as well. I also like how the sleeve of the bended arm blends into the background. All and all very nice.
