It looks like someone heard of Gobby McSpooder's useful skill set and wanted to steal him for personal use. Unfortunately that someone sent his most incompetent minions, and they've quickly learned that this Pokemon is probably more trouble than it's worth. Gobby doesn't seem to mind the company, though, but it's hard to tell with a face like that.I've had this picture idea for a long time now, but I kept having to put it off when I worked on projects for other people and then I'd forget about it for a while. I don't have any obligations to fulfill anymore, so now I can put all my effort into personal projects. I didn't draw any cocoon lines on this picture because they were really a waste of time since they didn't make the silk look even close to convincing and I wasn't going to put a lot of effort into something that just didn't work. If I want to make better cocoons I'll have to develop a new process, and until then this is the best you're going to get.

I wish this happened Jessie in the anime. I love seeing Jessie cocooned from nose to toes, and her arms in the straitjacket position is a nice bonus. I don't normally favorite CID, but this is so good, I'll make an exception. Thank you 2GoodSharks for the picture.

That's why Gobby's gonna leave them there a long time. Nothing like a little humiliation to discourage someone. At the very least James and Meowth would give up, and Jesse would have a hard time bossing them around from there.
