Description I have not worked much in Copper wire, so over the Christmas holiday I decided to see what I could produce. I have purchased a few tutorial from jewelrylessons.com and used those in my copper wire explorations.

I will post a photo of the side of this pendant because I have weaved the side wires together using two wires that create an X instead of one wire that creates the traditional V.

I also an learning how to patina copper wire. This is pendant uses gun blue to darken the wires and give it depth.

It's hard to tell but the stone is about the size of a nickle.

It will be posted on my website for sale shortly.

Use glue blue. It is sold at most sporting goods stores. You can dip the whole item in the liquid for a few seconds or brush it on with a Q-tip. Rinse the piece well, then polish the parts you want more copper looking. DON'T LET SIT IT LIQUID FOR LONG!!!!! Piece will turn a powdery black.

It's good to clean the piece of you hand oils before patina process. You can clean it using lemon juice. Make sure you rinse that off before using the gun blue.
