Description
This is Nutty, he was my brother's piggie - our family's first piggiehe lived til he was 6 but died some time ago.
He was very much loved, mostly by my brother and mum - he didnt like me >.>
he wasn't the bravest of characters; and had a way of making you feel sorry for him which made you
run for a treat and wrap him up safe X3
He lived by himself but he always always wanted company - a friend
2 weeks from Nutty passing away, we got Lily & pinky
from seeing how much nutty liked company
we decided to get two piglets
I thought I'd show you him anyway

Β What a beautiful little piggy and such a sweet close up. So cute with his food in front of him. But why such a name as Nutty was he a bad boy or acted strange. I am sure looking back at this shot brought some sweet memories back. Thank you for sharing this shot.Β

my brother named him nutty i think because of his colour
my brother was only a child at the time bless him
he was always more relaxed when food was infront him

my brother always has had a thing for ginger piggies since nutty
so when we started looking for a friend for alice
he requested a ginger piggie
i kept his request in mind, and when i saw millie's litter
she was the one with the most ginger fur. not that i chose her for that reason
but it was a bonus
i think my brother called him nutty because of his colour but my brother was a child as the time
he didnt like me much as i was the one who cut his claws and bathed him
both of which he HATED so he associated me with these things i think!

Oh what a precious looking beauty I do not think I knew Ginger but I love the name chosen for him. He seems to be enjoying his cucumber I love them too. I find it so strange that he did not like you especially when you are so loving and I am told that animals can actually sense that about people. I am sure that made you a bit unhappy as I am sure you would of loved to be close to him. Thank you for sharing

He loved cucumber, cucumber got rid of all of nutty's troubles XD
i think because he was my brother's guinea
so he spent most of the time with my brother whereas i was with sky
and the only interacting my brother me and nutty seemed to have
was claw cutting and bath time, so he associated me with things
he didnt like. i was the claw cutting and bath girl =.=
it was fine i did try and make an effort with him but he really couldnt take to me
so i kept to sky, a pet that appreciated me XD

yes i get all the nice jobs
but it hasnt stopped im still one for doing the claws and bath time!
but this time some of the pets dont mind these treatments
whereas nutty hated it with a passion
i was very wrapped up in sky and my school life
so i didnt make an effort with nutty not compared to what i do with girls
im always round the girls and caring for them
i just cared for sky, nutty was very much my brothers responsibility
but thats how you are as kids isnt it
like "this is my toy that one is yours"

There is nothing worse then when you don't have any time to give your pet the attention it needs but children are not really very responsible. My father used to say you have a pet now you take care of it. He was not an animal lover. I grew up with a great love for animals. They bring so much joy to our lives. Before I leave this world I wish to see all my babies once again.

well my brother didnt give his guinea the attention i gave my rabbit
i begged and begged for a pet, and im not even sure why
i chose a rabbit, i really cant remember the reason
but i was so very set on it
i even wrote my dad a letter promising that the bunny
will be my responsibility and i would play, care, clean it
and then we started looking at bunnies
i found sky, at a farm we used to go to as children
he was there with 2 brothers
i went on about him all week, then one school i was coming
home and my mum had come to pick me up and when i got in the
car, sky was in a box. she has been and fetched him!!!
i was so happy i cried
and from then ive not looked back never once do i neglect my pets
i do everything for them, as they are a privilege and shouldnt
be taken for granted my parents have never had to care for my pets
not unless im mega poorly or i go away for a couple of days
whereas with nutty me and mum tended to pitch in a lot more
id say in the last 2 years of his life, my brother became a teenager
and wasnt always into cleaning out nutty's cage
so he made very clear if we got any pigs after nutty he would not
want them to be his responsibility
i dont even go away for very long as i dont like having to ask
my family to look after tiffin on my behalf
i feel quite tied down with pets
but im fine with that feeling, id rather have them than not having them
sorry went on a bit!

Oh. No worries. He's a musician who is one of the few I connect with on a lot of things. Remember when I said back when that I wanted to share some music I really like with you but then decided against it because it's very unlikely you would like any of it as much as I do? Well, there are a few of his especially I ,i>would like to share with you, and really hope you like.

No I haven't ever met or spoken to him personally - but seeing how he's clever, has a "sound" I clearly connect with (mix of electronic with aspects of pop/rock/dance/more to it), he's experienced both severe insomnia AND significant depression and yet every song has an upbeat or positive feel to it in some way - he uses evocative language and interesting sound mixes that frankly makes him one of my favourite musicians and that's saying something as I usually don't latch onto any one thing too hard. I'm sure you could relate to it as well, I'll be happy to share you some of my favourites soon, should you want.
