Phew, this one took ages. More than five hours actually! I've actually been watching a few Angry Beavers episodes online lately, and I thought I might as well attempt to draw the characters!Angry Beavers © 1997-2001

This piece gave me some nostalgic feelings when I saw it. It's a very cool piece of fanart that you made and you did a very nice job in portraying the characters and capturing the style. They are very recognizable and you captured their colors nicely as well. There are a few minor details that seem a bit off to me. For example their teeth seem to be coming out of their noses. Looking at the original designs (vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/ni… ) their teeth are placed on roughly the place where their noses are lined off from their snouts. Your teeth are place a bit higher on the nose. Second thing that stood out to me are their feet. While their feet were definitely very cartoony and not detailed, they did give a proper idea of how the feet were positioned with three toes on one side and the last toe on the other side for balance (i.ytimg.com/vi/nxV_JU01I7A/max… ). This also gave a decent feeling of the surface they were standing on and the perspective they were placed in. I get that less with your drawing of their feet. Like I said these were minor things and you approximated the characters very well, that I felt these final things could be improved, but the drawing is definitely great as it is.
Apart from that there's not too much to say about this piece. Unfortunately the two beavers are standing in a white void, which makes the characters the focus of the attention, but it does not leave much room for storytelling or other visual interest. The expressions on their faces reflect their general personalities, but the piece doesn't grow much beyond that. I would definitely advice you to look into doing more with your characters and your backgrounds in terms of storytelling. There's a lot of fun you can have that way!
Still, as I said before, as a fun piece of fanart to simply show these characters off it's definitely a cool piece. I hope my comment will be helpful for you to improve further in the future!

Thanks so much for your comment. Yes, I can easily point out those things I need to work on. Although they're minor, I feel like I should've paid more attention to even the small details of it. As for the background, I felt like I wanted to keep it simple, so I hadn't really used anything. But I feel like I could've added maybe some coloring to it to style it up, even.

ha ha! this is pretty cute and funny! i loved the show since nickelodeon was on a white hot streak and before they became the sutpid spongebob and loud house channel, which i despise! since growing up i liked adult shows with violence and adult content like the x files and law and order. but then again i love these 2! i used to see catdog too. norbert has the smooth look in his face and dagget has the oh, please look!. very funny picture of a time when nick can do no wrong. i used to be a 90's cat (dating myself) and still am and i love this and the powerpuff girls and the attitude era of the WWE. sorry if i rambled but this is very good for a drawing.

that's good, i remember the 90's very well as well as the attitude era of the WWE as the rock is the most electrifying man hee hee. i also remember ahh! real monsters. until spongebob and loud house ruined their reputation, nick is the bomb. god bless nickelodeon.

I remember all those 90s shows as well. Those were some good times indeed. I'm not really a fan of the recent Nickelodeon shows nowadays either, although I can imagine some people being into it, and that's fine. At the end of the day, it's not everyone's cup of tea.

true, although i like nickelodeon shows the best, i say toonami is better and that sweetens the deal. i loved sailor moon and outlaw star as well. nostalgia aside, i loved some new shows like kill la kill and one punch man, at least to me they were new. i enjoyed them as all toonami content is good but i am having difficulty liking FLCL: progressive. to me it should have ended after the first season cause it's not psychedelic and weird as the last one. oh and i like your cute fox icon.
