Description I did a set of fire and a set of water wings based on mostly the same rough pattern. This is the flame set; I can't get a better picture of them because they sold to a nice bartender fellow. The ribbon obscures the backmount's design, basically it looked like a flame on a black candle. Also, some of the detail is lost on the 4th color layer in (similar color, 4th layer was darker, though). The front side of these was the same design as the back (I usually don't do that).

I did wear these once to the club before they sold, so I might have a picture of myself in them to post later.

I use Foam, and sometimes plastic.
Felt could be used for a smaller design. Felt is heavier, and could get ruined if it got wet.

I don't have a tutorial up yet, but if you send me a message I can describe the process to you.

I made a pair of black wings I haven't uploaded yet with longer trailing feathers, and it worked out really well (I got complimented on the fluttering of the feathers). So I think foam would work pretty well to make Belldandy's wings.

Hello! I know these are from awhile ago now, and I'm not sure if you'd be willing to share your progress anymore, but may I also ask for how you made the wings please?
I'm trying to make a pair of wings for Zephyrmon (from digimon) and I've just been browsing through every wing you've made because they're so amazing! The harness is the biggest trouble point for me, so even just tips on how to make that part would be so appreciated
