Since my husband has been hospitalized I feel low and unmotivated (the good thing is that his treatment is going well so far). So it took me forever to complete this piece.I always wanted to picture my OC Ray as a statue with kintsugi elements (Kintsugi ("golden joinery") is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. - Wikipedia) I think, this philoshophy suits Ray - because of all his scars, each of which has its story. Also I wanted to challenge myself a bit by using limited palette. Hope, you like this!
