Description i just found this stashed on my hard drive; it's the finished version for a cover on a weekly comics magazine.Unfortunately, at that time, the editor opted for an earlier version that was never quite up to my liking.

Really lovely. My only concern is that the birds don't seem to have enough movement. . . They all have their wings arced up. But the flow of the hair, her expression, it's just beautiful.
