I am reminded of urban scrumping (as quoted by Bill Bailey the comedian) - where scrumping is a peckish passerby taking some produce (e.g. apples) from a farmer's tree since there are many and he won't miss a couple. Urban scrumping (the same applied to, say, stereos) doesn't work so good. That's probably when you find an urban ranger on your tail.

What does an Urban Ranger do? I know what a Ranger does, tracking, hunting, but I never know what the Urban version does of something.
