Description
So, thanks to a certain kinda recent DuckTales episode, I ended up checking out art, then clips, and then whole episodes of Darkwing Duck. And strangely enough, I end up getting drawn to one of the villains, Dr. Reginald Bushroot. He's in this weird gray area where he's such a big sensitive dweeb that's too lonely for his own good that you almost forget he's a villain until he reminds you by committing a crime or going into mad scientist mode. Even then, he's the most sympathetic of DW's villains, and the most likely to reform according to the creator.

Though, in checking out some fan fiction, the way some people write Bushroot made me think of him as "the Fluttershy of plants", which gave me an idea.

And thus, after searching to see if anyone else had the idea and coming up empty-handed, I decided this crossover needed to happen. After all, if there's anyone who wouldn't freak out on seeing a weird plant duck (though it would surprise her to see one, and surprise her even more that it talks) and would instantly want to make friends with it, it would be Fluttershy. Who is she to not befriend a unique creature in need of a friend? Bushroot wept tears of joy.

I imagine here during their little tea party they're talking about their abilities to communicate with fauna and flora respectively, plus Flutters having questions about his physiology, including the part about the fact that he's drinking fertilizer.
