The sexeh flaming puppy shown here is Risk of 's comic THUNDERBIRD: Birth of a New Hero . He, like many of the characters in the story, is something of a canine superhero. His power, shockingly enough, is controlling fire, and he can burst into flames as well. This peice is meant to show him charging and the flames within just starting to consume him. Rage can do that to you. I'm aware of how cliche the phrase "Fight fire with fire" is by now, but I figured it worked quite well for him, considering that's almost exactly what he does. So I added it in.

Daaaamn! I'm pretty happy with how this came out! A couple spots are kinda rough here and there, but the pose is pretty catchy, the flames look good, and I like it in all. I used a tutorial for the flames, which you can see here . It's SO easy and SO awesome looking!!!
