Description I have been really in a red sort of mood, that and an experimenting with a few different things technique wise So I let the two moods take a walk together... Crimson Death was the first one I completed ... but it was due to this piece ... I had the concept of a Crimson Angel but I hadn't found the right mix of stock that I wanted...

Basically this was a heavy use of the colorize tool in GIMP. I made the models clothing and boots a more scarlet red with it... and I also added an red overcast to the model entirely to blend better... I also used it on the background to get the crimsony goodness I was after...

And of course the wings... I have about 10 different color versions of these wings now for all the playing I've been doing I love these wings in general

I also played with make up application again with the red on her eye lids...

There was a LOT of time put into this piece but in the end it was worth it.

I may. I have scoped it out mostly rather than written much to it.. but it is on my list to put up here. I have a lot of stories/books and I'm trying to focus on one or two and try to get published.

Thanks, I really liked how this one turned out. No problem on the stock... it was the right piece at the right time for what I wanted to complete the whole thing... so thanks for providing it
