Ok, I came up with a head canon for Cody.

When he was little, his parents had this HUGE, FANCY, expensive(since they’re rich) cookie jar antique. It would be filled with all sorts of cookies, like peanut butter, chocolate chip, white chocolate, sugar cookies, you name it. And because of Cody’s sugar addiction, he would always steal the cookie jar when his parents were away, and he’d hide in a dark room and stuff his face with cookies. But eventually his parents caught onto him stealing the cookie jar because they’d find crumbs throughout the house. Or sometimes they would come home early and notice the jar was missing. They began to call Cody the “Cookie Monster” for awhile until they had to completely get rid of the jar. The cookies would ruin his appetite and make him all crazy from the sugar.
