Description The park in Oliwa is a monument of Gdańsk. The area it occupies is over 11 ha. It was established at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries together with the Cistercian Abbey. The Oliwa Stream, also known as the "Radosna Struga", flows here. It is one of the main watercourses draining the Oliwa Forests. In the Palm House, we can find many exotic plant species worth seeing. When visiting the park, you cannot miss the waterfall. This architecturally interesting building attracts many tourists. The historic palace in the Oliwa Park is the Abbots' Palace. It is divided into the old eastern wing and the new southern wing. There are over 2,000 valuable species of trees and plants in the Park, including shrubs and perennials. The Japanese Garden with elements and vegetation typical of the Japanese landscape has recently been opened to the public.
