Onto the facts!

Name: Ironi

Species: Kanob

Home World: Kanobia

Powers/abilities: Ironi has incredibly durable skin whose durability increases with kinetic force. This enables him to take exceptionally brutal blows from even the likes of Vilgax and still remain standing, albeit disoriented and dazed, and survive under heavy gunfire and explosions. In addition, he also non-conductive and is immune to electricity as a result.

Kanobs have enhanced strength and can easily lift the likes of a car over their head and throw it a fair distance. This also allows them to punch clean through objects as hard as rock and concrete.

Kanobs have a bite force strong to tear through most metals.

The horns on Ironi's head can be used as weapons.

Like Wildmutt, Ironi has exceptional senses of smell and hearing to make up for his lack of eyes.

Weaknesses: Ironi is only durable so long as kinetic force is exerted upon him. If potential energy or steady pressure, such as solid rock, is put upon him, he is significantly more vulnerable to injury.

Kanobs are a primitive species and are thus very unintelligent, even more so than Appoplexians. They rarely need a reason to fight and will attack virtually anything, even inanimate objects that have done nothing to earn their ire. This makes them incredibly easy to trick, though Ironi is notably more intelligent than other members of his species due to Ben's presence.

Because Ironi has no eyes, if any of his others senses are in any way blocked or overpowered by things such as awful odors or loud noises, he will be rendered blind.

While they are immune to electricity, Kanobs are exceptionally heavy and can easily drown in large bodies of water.

Etymology: Ironi's name is a portmanteau of "iron side", a term often used to describe a person o object that is incredibly resistant, and "oni", a Japanese, ogre-like yokai that is best known for wearing tiger skins and wielding large clubs as weapons.

Trivia: The species name is derived from the kanabō , a large, club-like weapon that oni are often depicted wielding in Japanese myth.

Ironi's abilities were inspired by those of Rocket from the Young Justice TV series. Like Ironi, she is able to create shields of kinetic energy that grow stronger with kinetic force.

The Kanob are an incredibly primitive species - similar to Vulpimancers - and are sexually dimorphic in nature, with males (such as Ironi) being big, brutish, and largely unintelligent creatures whose only thought is to cause as much violence and destruction as possible. They're so aggressive that they literally cannot stand the presence of more than three of their own kind and they often form small war bands that rage against one another to the death. The blue female Kanob on the otherhand, are significantly smaller, inoffensive, and more intelligent than their male counterparts and are a lot more tolerant of their own kind, often traveling together in large groups for protection and companionship; the females actively avoid the males.

During the mating season however, the tables are quickly turned as the female Kanob become increasingly aggressive to the point where the males actively fear them and will try to run away at the mere sight of a single individual, much less an entire group. The females will then go about trying to capture as many males as possible before mating with them, after which they are quickly banished from the group. These types of hunts are so violent that they more often than not end with the males perishing in the process. In fact, this is largely the entire reason why the Kanob evolved their kinetically resistant skin.

The Kanob share many similarities with the Gazorpians from Rick and Morty and the Amazonians from Futurama. Both societies are either sexually dimorphic or devoid of males and both genders generally seem to loathe one another.
