...the toetag...ok, here it is.
I had the idea of photographing a pair of bare feet with a toetag on one of'em. so i did.
What I didn't think about, is what to write on that tag.So I asked a lot of people about their ideas and some of the responses i got were hilarious!!
that's when I came up with the idea of askin you guys on DA about your ideas. Tell me what's on your mind!
I'll wait till someone comes up with somethin outstanding, then i'm gonna write it on the tag and submit it again.

Don't write anything on the toe-tag. Half of the intrigue of this image is not knowing the full story. Keep it blank man...

well what first attracted me to this was the creativity in it...i honestly dont think ive seen an image like this in my whole life
and you executed it wondefully
now my initial thought was a little morbid....but after thinkin about it...and your question as what too write on the tag....
i couldnt stop thinkin "HUMAN FOR SALE"
i think it would be perfect..for how anyone perceives the shot..

Great concept the blank labell is actually more intresting than having anything written on it, as it encourages the viewer to think about the shot and how they interpret it. So in my mind keep it how it is.
If i HAD to put a labell on it it would say "Big toe".

my only concern with this photo is how livley his feet look considering he's dead n' all that./ perhaps if you desaturate it a bit? give him a little more of a deadish, grey, corpsicle look.
idunno what to do for the tag. perhaps something about him stepping on something poisonous while he was barefoot? lol.

Yes there should be writing on it, but no, I don't know what it should say. I like the way the feet disappear into nowhere, so the body is very anonymous. Great photo.

"Trick or treat." - You may know the old "...smell my feet, give me something good to eat." Or perhaps someone was dressed up as a really convincing dead body for Halloween.
Something about leaving shoes at the door came to mind, but I thought of mosques and removing feet at the door suddenly became politically incorrect.

Firstly my suggestions for the tag:
- An address with "return to sender" in hand writing covering over the address
- $49.95 ea
- If found please return to ....(name and address)
But anyway, great shot. The composition is just awesome, the way the feet stick out so much from everything else, the way the legs fade into darkness and the simplicity of all the background elements are great. The lighting is very purposeful and totally successful. Overall great production qualities.
I like the concept as well, even if it is still under construction.

another idea: you could put his name and whatever hospitals use to keep track of their patients that are headed for the morgue or whatever haha. The idea is to make him look like just a figure on a chart or someone who has yet to be identified.

About the picture: I think it' just perfect.
Light is incredible and simplicity is so powerful in this image.
