Β Tbh, I kinda have to disagree with this (not to be rude or anything.) As someone who is mentally ill, I don't like how poorly portrayed Mikes mental illness is. It's shown that his mental illness is the source of every problem he's ever had. That it's the only thing that makes him who he is. He seems to have no personality outside of being mentally ill. I also find it kind of ridiculous how they just decided to slap in a reset button to get rid of the personalities, for two reasons. One, they literally killed Svetlana, Manitoba and all the other personalities that some people actually enjoyed, showing no hope of them ever returning. And two, ridding yourself of mental illness isn't that easy. It takes a lot of time with recovery and different medicines, and even then it might not always work. I won't give anyone crap for being a Mike fan, I just personally don't feel he was a well-written or well portrayed character and therefore, can't really appreciate him myself.Β

First of all I thought the way they protested mike's mpd was creative and secondly it is not true that mike doesn't have a personality outside of his personas he is a a shy and timid nice guy that is his personality and as for killing off his personas they only killed them off because the shws wouldn't shut up about how offensive he was and they're obviously not going to put a lot of effort into changing a character just to please the haters I know I wouldn't but if I were them I wouldn't have changed mike in the first place I would have added even more personas just to rub it in their faces that I won't take sjws seriously that's what I did with Richard people complained that he was offensive because of his sexist personality well I went ahead and made him a murderous sexist

It's something that legitimately has a negative effect on peoples lives. And outside from him being a shy, timid nice guy, what are his interests or hobbies? Can you recall him ever having any real hobbies or interests? He was a pretty one dimensional character.Β

They've begged them for a gay character, begged them for trans characters, bitched to hell about Noah not being gay. In fact, the sjws on Tumblr, legit don't give a crap about Mike at all. They don't even bring him up. So that statement is wrong.Β
Β Β And it's okay to have a character that's sexist, as long as you yourself aren't a sexist person. And as long as the character, within writing is somehow punished for their sexism. Β

Mike did struggle because of his mpd he nearly lost his crush because of it he was self concious about it and he ended up losing the game because of it so you can't say that it wasn't portrayed realistically and of course he doesn't get punished for it because he's supposed to be a male parody of a feminazi he was bullied by misandries when he was a kid and it made him hate women anyone has a problem with that they can take it up with my block button because I will not change my characterΒ

i personally don't think that Mike is offensive but his MPD was really mishandled during the All-Stars finale so I get where people are coming from, I mean seriously there's no reset button for MPD and from a narrative standpoint it was an anticlimactic way to get rid of the main villain.

Lets be honest if they decide bring back Mike they'll bring his personalities back with him in some contrived way and most peoples problems weren't with Mike in All-Stars it was Mal because he was a dumb unnecessary villain (With an even dumber defeat) and they had to make everyone around him stupid just to make him seem smart. And even if the reason they got rid of his personalities was because of SJWs they should have done it in a more tactful way that wouldn't piss off more people.

Β 1. If the TD staff were getting complaints about Mike then they would have been getting back in Total Drama Revenge of the Island and they would have had enough time to plan his persona's departure and make them go out with grace and dignity instead of saying'POOF! they're gone now. It's that easy!
2. More people were complaining that the way that his personas left was offensive (cause it was) than people complaining that Mike himself was offensive
3. It was unnecessary to get rid of his all his personas, they just need to get rid of Mal. If they hadn't used that dumb reset button and instead have a big battle between Mike and Mal (which would have been EPIC!!!) then people wouldn't as much of a problem with Mike... well besides he's boring as tar (but that's a personal problem I have with the character)

Maybe i did, but Thanks for at least letting me let my rage out on the stupidness that was the finale for TDAS. Whatever the reason for them getting rid of Mike's Personas (SJWs or lazy writing either way it was stupid). I hope we can be friends! +watch!
