Description This is my contribution to the Wayfinder magazine. Wayfinder is made by and for fans of the Pathfinder roleplaying games, with non-official content for whoever wishes to include it in their games.
The articles are written by fans, and the pictures are done by fans too (like me!). So IΒ΄m very happy to contribute. Roleplaying is a passion for me and the best rp campaigns I remember were written by the Pathfinder stuff. (Ah, Korvosa! I miss that city as if it was real!).

This new number of the Wayfinder is about the Mwangi jungles and its inhabitants.

The arcane symbols I used were created by ~redheadstock . You can find them here: [link] Thanks for sharing!

Thats pretty fantastic man!

I'm really getting into the Serpents Skull Adventure Path and I'm digging the Sargava Campaign setting!

I havenΒ΄t tried that one -yet XD-.
We are playing an old setting by Paizo, "Age of Wroms".

lol. Well its not your typical dungeon craw. Its kinda like "Lost" meets "Escape from treasure island" meets "Indiana Jones and the temple of doom"

My favourite adventure from them isnΒ΄t like the typical dungeon eiher . Have you played "Curse of the Crimson Throne"?

She's an excellent character design! Love the detail! Awesome work.

Pathfinder is my RPG of choice, now, too - ever since the console-game-in-a-book that is 4E failed to impress me.

I share your oppinion about 4E. Our roleplaying group also has most of the books from 3.5, and you can guess our oppinion on throwing them all to the trash can and start buying 4E books... The guys from pathfinder gave fresh air to the 3.5 system, and they work so hard that I donΒ΄t feel any bad by giving my money to them. The books are worth every coin.

Agreed! It wasn't even just about preventing the obsolescence of my 3.5 books, though. The 4E system seems to have had all the storytelling "magic" sucked out of it as part of a marketing-oriented redesign to make it appeal to the broadest possible audience. 4E feels more like the product of Hasbro than of Wizards of the Coast. So, like you, I'll happily reward Paizo for keeping a good thing going and improving it in the process.

My friends and I also commented that. The game is oriented to make gamers purchase all the miniatures and merchandise stuff if they want to enjoy the game at its fullest. Remember the times when you only needed a piece of paper, a pencil and a couple of dice? XD
I still buy a lot of the miniatures, I admit it. Plastic miniatures are less delicate than white metal ones, and we enjoy illustrating the battlefield and exploring the dungeons using them (but not the narrative parts of the story). IΒ΄m glad we could also be playing without them, if we wanted.

That's how we do it, too: miniatures for resolving combat only. We have a hundred or so, collected over the years - most of them to represent the bad guys we invariably have to fight.

All in all this is an interesting work. It's got a few flaws here and there but it all comes together quite nicely.

My favourite part of the pic is the way she stands. That's not an easy thing to draw.

I also see the flaws, I strongly need to practice my digital coloring.
Thanks for the comment. ^^
