After noticing obvious edits in anime cartoons such as One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh, I have come to the conclusion that 4kids has quasi-destroyed them, not to mention that some of the episodes of these cartoons when dubbed by 4kids don't make any sense.*EDIT: not every single good anime out there, just the ones that they get their hands on. There's a few that, if 4kids got a hold of them, there would not be a plot line...period (i.e., Kuroshitsuji, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood/OVA, etc.).

This is true. However, even though I do detest them, you gotta give them some credit. They expand an anime's audience. When I was younger, I loved the 4kids dubbing of Yu-Gi-Oh! In fact, in my opinion, it's one of their better dubs. While the 4kids version of the show may seem stupid, tame, and downright disgraceful to us fans who watch anime that is totally unfiltered, but it's good for the target audience: kids.
But, putting that aside, it IS an enemy to anime

Well I did like the 4Kids dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! when I was little but now that I'm older, I am pissed that the dub wasn't exactly like the original!

No dub is exactly like the original. Even with FUNi/Bandai/whatever dubs, some things are lost in translation. Even the subtitles are a little off in a japanese dub.

If they got a hold of Kuroshitsuji, I would die. I mean, they would have to edit (or completely take out) 75% of the show!

And, don't even get me started on Death Note. They would have to change the entire plot, edit out the blood, and maybe (knowing 4kids) even change the name!

Uh, I don't hate 4Kids. I've seen Sonic X and Mew Mew Power and honestly,watching it in English is better than reading subtitiles of a Japanese version.
