They aren't super common unless you get the right feed. They are also more common as it gets closer to winter. I have a few photos of them in my gallery. They prefer to live and eat on the ground. They can fly but they prefer to hop. It's only like 9 inches up a bush in this photo.

You are spoiling me, Casey, as I said, you are so nice to me, all the time!
First of all, thank you so much, once again for this beautiful dedication for my birthday, I greatly appreciate it!
This is another awesome picture, a close-up of a Dark-eyed Junco, and we know how hard it is to take a sharp photo of these birds!
Secondly, thank you so much for featuring my black cats and your crusade to made them loved. They are sweet and loving animals, maybe sweeter than the other cats. I never had any problems with them, on the contrary! It is touching me very much!
I don't know why so many people don't like them or are afraid to own them. Yes, because of a non-sense superstition! Thank you so very much for that, Casey!

Yep, and these black cats of hers all were lovely cats. Due to so many not wanting black cats, you can by going to animal shelters and getting a black cat get to choose from the most loving cats available there. Since the most loving go first of every color, but blacks sit longer, it means odds are the most loving cat there is going to be a black cat.
