This was taken April 2014 at Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Wanted to get some photos of the ducks but since the newly painted statue was still setting in the ground of there normal exhibit they were in a cramped exhibit with the Sandhill Cranes and I went to get photos of the Cranes. They walked slowly away. I go slow but if the ducks don't want to be bothered or the Cranes they just don't. They like their privacy for the most part. Unless they are hungry and you have something yummy. Which they seem to never be hungry. I've throw bread and then I get to the other side of the exhibit and see pretzels and bread untouched on the ground. The ducks however were all for letting me get pics. Just most were close together or not in goo position for photos. However I feel mighty proud of how beautiful the colors are in this. I saw how the bird looked calm and matched the ground so I grabbed this close up.
