Attttackk! ~RAWR!!There's lighting coming from so many wierd/unexplained sources that you'll be too confused to point out where there should be highlights and where shadow. Yep. Its all part of Yo's master plan 9___9a
Let me know if you can't see anything in all that black. My two monitors shows two completely different pictures.
Uni just started, so this'll prolly be the last of the more "polished" works for um... a while. So Enjoy!

This time I colored it with my monitor elevated 30cm in the air and at an angle. Coloring on flatscreens such a pain. How do you get your colors to turn out nice? D:

I hate when monitors do that. You have to calibrate them. The lighting looks great, but her left eye is rather strange. It needs to be sunk back more. Oh, nice hair too!

Ohh. That sounds nice. No more nasty surprises but I've heard it costs lots and lots of money >___< And how would it work if not everyone has a calibrated monitor?

Yeah they are pretty expensive. The one I have was listed at $300US regular price. A for how it works, ideally everyone would have a monitor that displays true colors. But worrying about that is like a TV studio worrying about how the people who only have a black and white television. It's up to the individual whether they want to see the correct colors or not. Unfortunatly you have no control over that. Most people don't use their computers to create visual art, and so most people wouldn't be worried about having a calibrated monitor. That's just the way it is. But if you are an artist creating work that's meant to be printed, say, then it is important. You want the color that comes out of the printer to match the color on your screen.
