Description This is in tribute of Thisisentertaining's wonderful DC fanfiction:

Observations
Ever since the elevator incident, Takagi's been watching Conan. A case comes up that gives him the perfect opportunity, but when things go wrong they find themselves in the hands of a professional criminal, with seemingly no chance of escape. TakagiXSatou

If any DC fan has not read this fanfic I insist that you do so ASAP.

Love the pic. The orientation around the fence-links really help with the overall air of the picture and portray the mood of the fic well. Great color choices. The browner hue really lend themselves to the grit of the source material. Love the font, very cold and strong, like a prison cell (winkwink). I guess my only complaint is the general posture of the subjects in the picture. They are a little stiff and ridged in relationship to each other. I could have benefited from a few varying angles with their body orientation (like what you did with Ran and Kazuha, and Vermouth really stands out!) Alas I truly understand the challenge of a multi-character piece. You've made a fine tribute to a great fic in the fandom. I see the author even made a special note of it to the storied followers.

Always remember; when you want a sequel; charm/guilt the author with wonderful fanart.

Thanks! It took quite a bit of brainstorming to come up with an idea for the composition. I couldn't really get an idea of what the basement-jail-room really looked like but I reread the chapter where it described it and the diamond wire mesh image stood out to me. I definitely went a bit grungier with this one to suite the vibe. And I've been reading some Marvel lately and doing illustrations for portfolio pieces, so that also influence the style for this work. My DCMK pics always end up looking pretty different. XD

Hmm, I get what you mean with the character's poses. I supposed I concentrated so much on their concept and wanted to show them off without it being over the top. There's a lot of moving the characters around to get the sizes and positions to look good too. I tried to balance the space they took up but also limit potential distractions or weird stuff going on with hands in awkward places and stuff (it happens more often than you think XP).

Haha I hope so! She seems busy with some other fandoms at the moment however. *pouts*

I really like the chain effect and the more realistic spin on their looks. I happen to love that particular FFic as well.

Thanks! I've been changing my style with DC drawings a little each time. I'm really happy with this one though.
