It is unbelievable, but I am actually satisfied with this drawing. For the first time in a while, something turned out the way I wanted it to turn out. The girl character is a new one, the monster is based on my earlier creations, Lolithia ([link] and [link] ). Monsters that eat kiddies for lunch. Happy times .

For those of you who have missed it; I have been trying out a completely different style. Instead of the usual anime I normally do, I wanted to do something with a more unique style, or at least something different. A while ago I was inspired by
,
and the teaser poster of Coraline (you might see some resemblance between my character and Coraline) and was impressed with their styles. Ever since, I wanted to try something out in similar style myself but have postponed it every time. Until now anyways.

I guess it might be too spooky for a little kid though; last thing you want to do is making them believe the monsters dont only live under the bed . As for the texture, I used some hand created ones and one by
([link] ).
So thanks for the excellent stock texture, without your flowers, the walls would have looked dull (and that would have mattered a whole lot) !

Ow, I decided this girl is staying with her grandma which is why the room looks rather old fashioned! Seriously, when I researched girl's rooms (yay to google), the pink almost killed me . So Grandma's home it is! And why not? You never know what is hiding in those other houses, hehehehe...
