Wow! I wish I could draw scenes like that. From what I've seen of andra's work you've got it all (But as an honest critic I must say the buildings could be alittle closer, no biggie. aside from that its fantastic)

LOL YES, I felt like there was something wrong with the buildings, and I should have guessed I needed to make it more claustrophobic, that's part of the beauty of the place, it's so chaotic, but in a good way. XD and LOL I meant for this to be only a small chunk of the whole city, but I messed up on a lotsa things. Like, I wanted the buildings to be taller too, more gothic looking, but I suck at buildings. So intsead they're just these squat little boxes all over the place LOL. My favorite part is the clouds because they agree with me. :'D

LOL I hope so. I wanted to collaborate with her in trying to make Decembersville an animated series. But she never got back to me on my offer/request, and so now I'm like:

Of course that being the exaggerated version of things. XD
and LOL I don't really like pairing Zero with anybody just because so far he hasn't been anything but a goody goody, which is crucial, but a bit obnoxious in any character. XD LOL no, I much prefer paring Chima with Sophia. Because I'm sick like that.

I totaly agree with everything you just said! Zero is TOO goodie goodie to be anything but obnoxious (yet he's kind of cool at the same time) and how were you planing to get decembersville to be an animated series? would you be animating it yourself or do you have connections? Mabey Andi didn't want to give up/ share rights to decembersville.

Andi said he was going to have a major development in his character though, so I'm excited to see what happens. c:
and LOL if we started the animation process RIGHT NOW, it'd probably be both of us animating it together hopefully. I've been experimenting a bit, trying to adapt to her style. I want all the credit possible to go to her as it's her story, I just see how amazing it'd be if she took it farther than just a story. Most of all though I was thinking for this to be a future project. Something she'd develop with me on the sidelines just suggesting things. At this age, when the working class doesn't really take you all that seriously, is a good time to develop ideas and make all the plans and such so that when the time is right, everything just falls into place.
Most of this is just wishful thinking on my part though. XD I've always had fantasies that missed the mark of reality.

LOL I'll be honest here, I'm a afraid to say anything more to her on this subject. I know the worst thing she can say is no, but her opinion matters a lot to me, and I just feel awkward anymore trying to communicate anything to her or make fanart even.

Alright, this is just barking epic fun~! No town scene will ever look the same (*has been too afraid to attempt one oneself*) ; and you did a great job!! It looks like part of a town, not just a miscellaneous grouping of buildings~
And, of course, the birds are great. FEATHERY~

LOL Used graphite and a smudge stump for those clouds to get that fuzzy cotton candy like effect. Pretty much just blacking out the spaces that I wanted to be the sky, then smudging inward on the white. Its'a bit like painting only with graphite, and it's really fun. XD
and LOL THEY ARE JUST A RANDOM MASS OF BUILDINGS. XD I just made random splotches of where I thought buildings would be. XD LOL it's really easy to do once you get the hang of it and get it planned out, for this I sort of pretended I was one of the birds, looking out over a small section of the city with some compadre's. XD
and LOL I wanted to try and give the birds a shadowy effect because in the story they struck me as the sentient shadow type birds that do the bidding of their evil masters. XD

They look so artsy though, it all flows so well, you buildings fit so well into compostion. What I can do? Draw one building that looks great because I drew all the detals really tiny, that's what I can do XD
