Hehe, since eating some of the heavenly Galaxy chocolate and drinking some Chinese tea, I've been on a fanart roll. Anyway, this depicts the Water Dragon, Goddess-Shepherd of the Dead, from Jade Empire. I was planning on doing some kind of floating pagoda, but couldn't be bothered. Anyway, I know its slightly scruffy-looking in contrast to the last one, but I hope its pleasant enough.
Outline done in Black Indian Ink, painted in watercolour and touched up in Photoshop CS2.

nice depiction of the water dragon, the facial expression has a sense of benevalance and at the same time higher sense of self (no bullshit, i actually see that here) as well with the background design helps to aid the whole ancient china motif your going for XD

I loved your work before just because I thought it looked fantastic - but now that I've played JE and became a pure blooded fangirl, your beautiful pieces appeal to me on a whole new level...

That was unexpected (personally, I despise this piece because it was rushed through and looks scruffy), but I'm very happy that my pieces have made that link with a newly born fan. Always nice to hear!
As for more fanart, I will admit I go through whimsical phases of creativity (both written and artistic), so it is likely that I'll be producing some more stuff in the future.
Anyway, I hope to see your own JE interpretations soon. I just love all the colours and sensuality you incorporate into your works; its extremely dynamic.
