Description
In countless realms where mass death occurs whether from a battle between pantheons, disease or famine the souls of those who had passed on too soon will remain unable to pass on and when enough of these enraged souls come together they combine into the towering undead creature known as the Gashadokuro, towering demonic, distorted skeletons that stride the lands of their mass death looking and feeding on the souls of anyone who trespasses on there grave.

With Fall beginning to show itself I decided to draw a spooky creature and looked through Japan's vast library of strange and interesting Yokai to draw and landed on the Gashadokuro and since I want to feature this creature in Bane of Gods I decided to give my own spin to the creature not wanting it to just simply be a giant human skeleton I decided to exaggerate the proportions such as extend the neck, give it broad shoulders, longer arms and legs, extended the vertebrae, give it a funnel shaped ribcage and elongate the top of the skull and exaggerate the cheekbones to give it a very uncanny and almost alien appearance that was kinda inspired by attack on titan and even found some similarities between this yokai and titans. Instead of going with making it bone white I decided to give it a charcoal color to add to the deathly macabre feel for the creature.
