Description
Hey all, this time I've got a new set of character reference sheets and a little bit of information on the figure in question, all hailing from my own original Fantasy World known as Dunathor. As you might be able to tell, this world is full of fantasy Races of my own original making, and thus unfamiliar to many, but also plenty of other familiar peoples like; Elves, Dwarves, and Humans, as I like that sort of mix. Additionally, as you can see the title references something similar to the famous Dungeons and Dragons TTRPG, which is intentional as I plan to post my own written stories featuring the characters with the 'Dungeon Dames' (or Dungeon Dudes for the Men) in the titles, played out something like one could expect to see a Comic or Video Game adaptation of a D&D setting or campaign. But more will come to further flesh out this world as I've long worked on this setting (for over a decade now), and I hope to have substantial posts relating to it in the near future.
Anyhoo, you can see a group reference shot (also a colored sketch) of the three girls from this group below. Their Classes, left to right would be: Wizard, Rogue, and Cleric. Their Races are, again left to right: Omori, High Elf and Djinn. Dungeon Delvers Dames ref
And now some info about the lady above:
Name: Yushen Gong-Lin
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Race: Omori, Jin-Lai, Seafolk.
Birthplace: The Jade Kingdoms, Empire of Jin-Long, Nanhai Province, Wenchou.
Class: Wizard
Persona: Although a skilled wielder of all things magical, the real reason this young Omori Female set out across the wider world was the pursuit of knowledge, and her ever-growing need to test the arcane ways. While generally on the side of one predisposed to the life of a scholar, Lin is typically upbeat, lady-like of the classy sort, and privy to a wealth of information that few tend to expect. Originally hailing from the ranks of a Minor Merchant Nobility Class family, Lin had access to a great many foreign language texts, from realms both near to home and distant, which makes her an even more invaluable asset to the party. Equally of importance is the make-up of her large immediate family, Lin being just one of six Sisters of the Yushen Clan.
As an added sidenote, I will now explain some added details of her physique, given that the Omori Race is an original creation of mine and not everything about them may be so clear.
The Omori Race are Humanoids descended from an ancient race of Fish People, who, during a time of great cataclysms, were magically and naturally evolved over time due to the rapidly changing state of the world at the time of their racial genesis. To this end, the Omori are known for their nearly flat faces, with only a slight bump leading up to the nostrils as opposed to the more "mountain-like" nasal structure common of the noses of Far Westerners they frequently marvel at as an oddity. Additionally, the Omori have thin gills on their necks that resemble thin slits, which may also be missed by others at first glance. Yet it is their Fin-like "hair" upon their heads which stands out to most, not just for their unique colors, but because of the colorful 'tails' that also grow along with said 'hair'. These structures, known as "Dragon Tears", are spiritual in origin, in short, as a physical reminder of the legacy the Omori Race have inherited from the previous ranks of the chosen of the Guardians of the East, said former chosen having fallen from their duty. While many Omori style these 'tears' as one would do with their hair, it is most common to see Women wearing them long, as the vibrance of color in them can advertise their personal health. Perhaps as an added benefit, the Omori's inheritance has also left their Race with an affinity for Magic not unlike that of the Elves of the Far West, but also a great deal of unique spiritual means.
Hope you like! Let me know what you think!
