Well it would appear the story has received as much attention as its going to get, so figured I would post the shiny/pretty art so that the comments can quickly eclipse what I spent a few hours working on that no one ever reads...sigh...yeah I'm just in that kind of mood today...
Anyways, here we have a beautiful image done by that was commissioned by of Ashley and Tiffany getting all dressed up to enjoy a nice romantic evening together.

Ashley Coleson smiled and gave a soft contented sigh as she walked softly through the old cathedral, the setting sun glinting through the multicolored stained glass windows, casting a kaleidoscope across the ornate marble floor and her lovely soft brown skin. The Cathedral of Evening Song had been long abandoned, but it had also been deemed a historical site by the Steel City city council, meaning that it would most likely never be demolished. From the outside it still looked like an impressive fortress, built from marble and stone. It was over a hundred and fifty years old, built in the late 1840s, and Ashley kept her breathing as quiet as possible as she moved through the beautiful cathedral, feeling as if she was walking through the past. The majority of the seating and other artifacts that the great cathedral had once housed had been removed, mostly to prevent looting, but Ashley didn't mind, as it gave h

I loved the story, through and through. As for this image, this should either be what they use for their inevitable wedding invitation and/or the first picture you should see when people walk into their home

Sadly, D.A. is mainly a visual art site, and they say a picture paints a thousand words. I know very few people read the stories I post under the images I have...it becomes obvious very quickly when they comment on what they think is going on in the image instead of what actually happens

It really is a lovely render of two lovely ladies.
As as far as getting more comments on your story, I think it is just the way many people on DA are. Most do not comment on stories and art, even if they like it. I try to encourage it, and also always respond to comments. But I often encounter the same problem. I just go with the thought that for every one comment, there are ten others who feel the same but are too shy to say it.
Your story was very well written and gives meaning to the image - makes the image that much more enjoyable for the viewer because we know how these two people are and how they feel about each other. If one of your watchers didn't read the story and just looks at the art, they are cheating themselves.

I know and normally it doesn't bother me, just with some R/L stuff and something happening to a good friend on DA, today is just one of those days I'm in a foul mood and felt like venting. It baffles me how less than 1% of watchers don't even bother to comment sometimes, but overall I know I have 5-6 people that watch who really really enjoy my work and are always very supportive and quite honestly those are the only ones who matter to me. Just some days it gets frustrating when you spend so much time on a story(I honestly don't think people understand how long it takes to write a story and think it's so much easier compared to art) and then it seemingly just passes by without notice.
I'm glad you enjoyed the stories and the art, and you are always a very supportive commenter that I am glad I discovered because now we are going to get some fun CD/DS stories soon!

Awesome image!!!! I understand about the low number of comments, it is frustrating. I have posted 2 stories, my first 2 with very few comments.
