Taken at Anime North '09 by with my camera. She was earning her ride home X3I really need to reset that wig before i wear it again, it was horrible. Also, apparently either my head has shrunk or the wig has grown b/c it kept falling off my head all weekend >:\

What did you use as a base your Aang's shoes? and are the purple flaps for Katara's skirt separate from the red panels?

Aang's shoes were just some slip on shoes I got at Walmart for cheap (they looked kinda like this: [link] ) and I made covers that I glued directly to the shoe. They have elastic around the top so they cling to the calf.
The flaps on the skirt are separate from the red panels just because it was easier to make it that way and I like the layers.

For her top I made a tank top with only one sleeve that stopped about 2 inches under the bust and added darts to give it a better fit. At the side seams, I added the straps so that I could tie it on the one side like she does. I recommend using a stretchy fabric because I didn't and getting into and out of it was a pain XD
