ACTUAL BIO (SHORTER)
Name: Verglas (also called Frostbite, or Winter)
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown (he’s old)
Personality: Silent and deadly, like the frost for which he is named. He doesn’t make friends easily, and goes out of his way to avoid others. Slow to anger, but when he gets mad, look out.

His Story, as told by me: From the beginning of the world, he was there, bringing winter into the world and ushering out the milder season of fall. He coated most of the world in white and filled the skies with soft-looking snow clouds. He is often seen in high places, howling at the sky and causing it to snow. In fact, it appears as if the snow comes from his howling mouth. No one can say for sure if he creates the snow and frost from his body, or if he just calls it into being with his voice. He has never told anyone; he keeps all his secrets to himself. He does not even socialize with others of his kind. That does not mean that he dislikes everyone and wants to be alone. He just doesn’t know how to make friends, or how to socialize with others. He continues on, alone. Maybe some brave soul will try to make friends with him? They would find that he is very thoughtful and surprisingly kind, in a gruff, silent way. He’s especially protective of creatures smaller than himself, but most are afraid of him, of the chilling winds that always seem to blow around him....

Story Behind the Picture: Verglas skimmed over the cold stone ground of the mountain, seeming to float above the earth. He ran, his paws thudding almost silently against the rocks and dirt, but the frosty fog that swirled around his paws muffled even that small sound and blurred the view of his paws. The long bits of hair-like fur on the sides of his face flew back behind him, blowing in a wind that he himself had created. His deep blue eyes took in the world that flew past as he ran, noticing all that went on in this cold, unforgiving environment. He turned his gaze to the top of the mountain--his destination. He sprang easily from rocky outcropping to rocky outcropping, until he was a single bound from the very tip of the mountain. Dark, feathery snow clouds had started to swirl in the sky above him. Making the final leap to the mountain’s peak, he surveyed the land that he ruled over. Drawing in a deep breath, he threw back his head and howled. There was a burst of snow, as if the thick white flakes were being blustered back and forth by a fierce wind. It was impossible to tell where exactly the snow had come from, but it didn’t matter. It was snowing, and the mountains were quickly being covered in a soft blanket of white. Every creature that lived in or on the mountains glanced up, and some could see the speck of blue and grey that was Verglas, standing sentry on top of the tallest mountain. His eyes flashed blue fire, and the fog swirled even higher around him.

Then he was gone.

I really enjoyed doing the background, but I’m not sure how well the wolf turned out :/ This is my entry for ’s adoptables--number 3 to be exact XD Here’s the pic with all the adoptables in it----> [link]
