What the crap how the hell did I find time to do this???I know how.
Setting aside much more important things, huh, Tora???
And there are many things that fall under that category.
Anyways...
PAUSE is the current title for Chapter 16 of I Will Remember You. Titles are subject to change for the fact of how the story content will lay out within the chapter. Currently, this is the name.
I just realized I forgot to add tears. Oh well. Later I'll submit one with the tears.
The bandages, if you are challenged or the art is challenged in some way, spell out PAUSE. The bandages represent only a few of the ones Reese used to mend all those scars he acquired over the course of those two years of his life. Some are only slightly bloody...some are very bloody, and some, in place of the blood, are scuzzy and icky in terms of dirt.
The three doodles in the back each represent the current three most important girls in his life: In the lower left, a sad drawing attempt at Nevaeh, who is holding her hand up and expecting her "brugger's" hand to reach down and hold hers within his. To the right, we have Yumi, his love, and the one he has to push away the most. And in the upper left...we have the one who was found in the alley--his mother--dead. Yes, she is still very important. Durhur.
Lyrics in the back come from a song by a half-screaming rock band named Kids in the Way. (what a jump) The song (Safety in the Darkness) isn't one of my favorites, it was just stuck in my head while I was doing it.
And, crappit, I need work on drawing crouched over figures from the front perspective. Waaaahhhh...I guess we'll have to go with not-crouched-over in this picture.
Boohoo, I need to work on valuable things now.
Time: ...erk, quite a few hours.

They're there. Not as common, sad to say, but there. Try squinting. Look near his right shoulder and his fingers, and the bottom of his left forearm. They're surrounded by a pinkish ring, and may be hard to find.

That, my friend, is the smile of insanity. As I mentioned, I forgot to add the tears. A dashingly insane smile with tears and glaring-ish eyes really at to the whole "o hai my father just drove me psychopathically insane, lulz" thing.
