What is it with me and redoing art pieces that did in January. Seriously. That was an awesome month for my muses. I want it back.

BUT ANYWAY.

I've always really liked this picture. I think I had. One of my really, really good art periods during this time, considering my level of skill back then and all. It was the beginning of my EXTREMELY BRIGHT CONTRASTY YET DARK obsession, which is a style that I absolutely adore, as well as my love for shading with markers directly over pencil. It just looks so lovely. <3

Anyway, yesterday during art III, I decided to draw while Ms. Bartel ranted at all the art I's. I'd always wanted to draw Maya without her jacket and hair accessories and stuff, just with her ribbon and robe dress thing, so that's where I went.

And this was the result. Wth, me.

Also SHUT UP I like lined paper it has a nice texture for my style of penciling. >:T
