-Super Strength; Can lift heavy weights, up to 4500 kg. It helps when he is welding particularly difficult metals.

-Third Eye; can see into a person’s heart, making him able whether or not the land is ruled by a wise king However, this eye has been blinded by fire and is still healing.

- Speed; Is able to run around 389 km/h, which, in his animal form, gives the illusion that he is flying.

Strength:

-Highly Intellectual; Usually spends his time thinking in silence, which has led to the belief that he is mute.

-Kind; Will bend down to be less intimidating, apologize even if he is not in the wrong. Anything to make his presence less noticeable.

-Hard worker; Will get his commissions down quickly as he works with strong determination and a desire to finish on time.

-Easy going; has low standards of company and does will accompany anyone who wishes for his presence.

Renshu doesn’t generally seek others out. Instead, he prefers if people seek him. While he is lonely, it doesn’t mean he is desperate for companions. However, he will give people a chance which often becomes his downfall for having no close friends. Being himself is something he shouldn’t do after all. He’s no slob, but he likes to be covered in soot, liking its presence on his skin as it feels like a protective blanket for him. Being told to go wash himself is a very large sore spot and he will prefer to be dirty than to clean himself for people. Really, the guy wants friends, but he doesn’t know how to keep them.

History:

He was born in the wild fields of China, simply coming to be. Like others of his kind, the soothing energy emitted by a kingdom under a wise king called to him, and Renshu would always be spotted here and there by humans. His preferred place was the palace’s libraries, whom were attended to by a single, elderly man. This man and Renshu got along and started a friendship that would last through the years. However, the bad thing about being human, was their lifespan. The wise king died and soon civil war broke out among his sons. Chaos reigned and the disgusting energy made Renshu weak to be around. But he wanted to visit his friend. He wanted to come back to the library and just read human ideas and intentions. His friend would protest and beg the Baize to flee, but the bull was stubborn and continue to come back. Until fire was set to the library. Suspicion of treachery led the rebellion to believe that the library housed weapons and so they burned it to the ground. Renshu and his friend became trapped inside and here the old man would burn, trying to make an escape for the baize to flee. The building collapsed and ashes would remain, covering the baize from head to toe. The creature would go unnoticed for a few days, where he remained still will shock and grief, at having been covered with the ashes of his very friend. Whether it was the human’s sacrifice that saved Renshu from burning, or his own abilities, he would never know. All he did know, was that humans sickened him. No one came for the old man or even tried to save him. They didn’t even ask if he was guilty or not. Renshu had seen humanity at its worst, and finally left the ruins of the library, continued to walk until he left the kingdom for good, where it would fall under incompetent rulers, but alas that is another story.

Once Renshu calmed down, he found himself unable to go back to his scholar life. Knowledge seemed meaningless now, being able to burn so easily like his human friend. Needing an escape, the baize decided to go back to the fire – and trained as a blacksmith. Having acknowledged its destructive force, Renshu decided he wanted to control it, play with it, and further understand. Fire will always be a mystery and like a moth, Renshu would return to be burn once more. He journeyed and practice his skill, until finally making a place for himself in this yokai village.
