The face is very detailed, but the body is too washed. I suggest you to work o bit more in it, define shapes a bit more. By looking at it in the thumbnail you get the impression of a head floating, and it goes in deterioration of your wonderful work.

Just from this preview (I don't know how you're going to continue) I'd say the left side of the pic is light and the right side dark. You have the dark storm cloud and Cardia's black horse on the same side of the picture.
(My sister would complain you're mixing anime and manga's hair colors again XD).
I like the general feeling, it's menacing.

This painting illustrates a small part of the story，Cardia is actually a living dead here, and he lost his life 13 years ago. That's why I am trying to make him look evil. Degel, his friend, is the one who pushed him to this situation. Thus, Degel takes the duty of protecting and watching Cardia. In this painting, they are chasing Kanon.
