Description
I'm in a show, which means I get to doodle backstage.Like with a real pencil. It's weird. I haven't done it in so long.
So yeah, just the standard (book) Hiccup on his Windwalker with Toothless in tow, a la "How to Twist a Dragon's Tale" (book 5). Just having a little fun. XD

He's one of my favorites (and honestly, I think the movie's Toothless is more like him than any of the others).

i had watched the movie at one point, and when i was in the library and saw the books, i was like...holy sheet and got all of the ones they had at the time, about, 2 years ago i think? i read them so fast, the movie seemed almost boring in comparison! though i still love both

Personally, i thought that the windwalker was smaller and thiner, but this is a great dipiction. 0w0

After "Steal a Dragon's Sword", I would probably draw him a fair bit differently. In that book, she equated the Windwalker a lot more with the movie's Toothless (shining and black, which wasn't mentioned in book 5), and that would be an interesting thing to try to interpret again.
