I finally got around to finishing this piece. I started working on this as a lunch time project but I decided to take it home and finish it off. This is a start of a new series of pictures that I will be illustrating of Hot Rods and Girls. This was done in Coral Draw 10, hope you like it. Not sure what year the car is, maybe you could tell me. Found it in a magazine.Related content

Looking at the door and the angle of the roof this MIGHT be a '33/'34 body on '32 rails. I know the 1932 Ford 5 window had the doors open 'normally'.

I found this pic in a mag, it was a small picture... about 1" x 2". Then I scan it in trace the major parts. But the way I work every pice is like of the car and girl is work of art it's self. it kinda hard to explain.

uh ..... wtf? dunno if you visited godzillasmash's gallery or not cryingbear but he's all about the fat chicks and that comment is really random. maybe he was trying to "name" the girl the same as naming the car .... lame sarcasm if that's the case. at any rate the drawing kicks ass and the girl fits the car. my only tip is on red gradients ... they're a pain in the ass .... when you make them use the same red for both colors in the gradient but for the one that needs to be darker, go to CMYK in your color palette and increase the black until you get the darkness you like. this will help prevent that brownish look in your gradient. not always but it helps.
