This is my duckling Quackers,i made him sit with his legs dangling because i am going to put him on my shelf

It is the skin of this animal, ducklings and chicks are fragile and die easily , he died naturally. Would you rather him be forgotten and rot away?
Ps short is right, the pins are there.to hold the skin in place over whatever form possum used and they will be removed when he is dry

That's cause it's dead. Taxidermy, look it up. Pins are to hold everything in place while it dries.
