My submission for the Cosmic Corsair Challenge

Backstory:

Stella is from a family of space pirates that usually pass the name of Captain down in the family. Stella never seemed like a very good choice. She wasn't scary looking, acted a little too happy, silly and overall didn't follow in the footsteps of previous captains.

She still got the position, as it was her right too. Though adorable, don't let that fool you. She didn't lose her eye for nothing. She does like to have a good time but when push comes to shove, she can get serious and pretty scary.

Everyone makes fun of her silly hat but it's hers and she wears it proudly. Her gun is pretty cool, average. But it's how she uses her gymnastics and flexibility alongside her gun that makes it so dangerous. She proudly wears the family crest, though her family may not be too proud of her. She bases herself solely on "Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover". She wants to be judged the wrong way, just so she can always have the upper hand.
