I wonder how different the sonic series would be if Maria was actually found alive.I know with the many different Maria the Hedgehog designs, i'm not the only one with these thoughts.
Like, I still think Sonic Adventure 2 should have still happened but they later find that she actually escaped. How would Shadow react? Would it be strange for him to get used to her again? And how will her meeting the others go.
Gaah, she didn't have to die! Well, I guess that's what fan comics are for.

I'm actually surprised Shadow didn't turn into like a Mr.Freeze kind of villain. Someone who was happy with a loved one until some political douchebag got rid of that loved one and turned the character into a heartless villain wanting revenge.

Though the Sonic universe has had weird things with aging, past and future. So I wonder what kind idea they would come up with, just to keep her a certain age xD;
