Shadows - Ellie Fell

{Speedpaint} Quick work of Laufeia used to practice using my Wacom.

I was focusing on hair techniques, shading, eyes, eyebrows and lighting So this is a very quick experimental piece. It's not meant to be spectactuarly dazzling. Plus, I wanted an excuse to draw Laufeia again <3

Laufi is my lovely bloodline mare! She's the daughter of Sylvia and Torando and I expect you'll be seeing her again soon, as she has an overdue ref sheet and the art on her isn't great for that. Laufi is named after the Norse goddess - going in a slightly different direction to the traditional Spanish-related Bloodline names - of destruction and evil, who was also the mother of Loki apparently. Additionally, the girl's name Laufeia means 'wooded or leafy island'.

Now:

MASON WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MAKE MY GIRL CRY YOU HORRIBLE STALLION.

Hmm, or maybe this is a past encounter, before she met Mason. A past encounter which turned her into the twisted and evil shadow-cloak-wearing mare she is today? So now, =ThatChickSpotty , you have been warned that there might be some upcoming emotional drama in our RP Besides Mason totally had a tryst with some mare before he met Laufi

Haha, the time and space in the song totally remind me of Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl and Dialga and Palkia I didn't write the song especially for Laufi but it seems to fit well It's been lingering around in my head for a few years now
