2: I know you missed both Frank West and Chuck Greene. Believe me, I miss them too 
And 3: to me, I think DR3 is cool. You get to combine weapons and vehicles anywhere you go, perform finishing moves, dress up. Hell some psychos are based on the 7 deadly sins and that got me obsessed to wonder what kind of nutbar can represent.

True, but there was that fat guy at the clothing shop in the Entrance PlazaΒ you could rescue that had no idea he was smack dab in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, and he handled things relatively well.

I was surprised by that too when I first played Dead Rising. I thought it was kind of funny that Frank never said anything in the cutscenes with Kent. But still, there was a lot of contrast between Frank and Kent that he became my favorite!

I wish Thomas was saveable. I killed Roger and Jack, then started to run around hoping that he'd wimp out. Now, I just kill his dad and bro, and just run off so I won't feel like a murderer. Too bad only Paul is saveable (I don't hate him, infact, he is one of my favorite psycho's/survivors, but I cannot put out that crotch fire for the life of me).
And I'm glad that I'm not the only one who found those bears creepy. God... at least they don't squirm and talk in pedo voices like the DR2 bears.

Well, not really pedo-bears, but there are now robot bears that squirm in place and constantly say stuff in a sort-of creepy voice. I like them though, since you can combine them with a machine-gun to make a badass bear turret (Called the freedom bear).
