i have some questions about this skin::
how can you colorize it? i had purple as standard color, and the contact and conversation panel were purple indeed, but suddenly the conversation screen has turned into a sort of dark green,, and i can't get it back to purple :/

Not really sure If I will even bring this to the new Messenger. Mainly because we are now forced to use the proper Windows frame now so we can't skin the min, max, close area anymore.
It really detracts from the original design and I want to avoid a sea of people asking "why are you using the Windows Vista look"
It's something I'll have to think about.

I make custom windows 7 themes and I could probably make a theme to match the frame and concept of this theme that would make it shine again for you if your interested, check out some of my theme in my Gallery, my last theme was Blade and that would probably look nice as the frames on this skin as well

Love this skin, I have been using it for almost a year now but I now upgraded to Messenger 2011, please make an update for Messenger 2011, the default styles make my eyes hurt and there available skins for 2011 look like they were done by 2 year old's lol

not entirely sure if I will upgrade this any further. Just because in Messenger 2011 you have to use the proper Min Max Close buttons so its going to really screw with the visual style we built.

OK well that blows mate, I use custom themes and I luckily never have to look at those lol, It's the only thing that stops me using the new messenger, looks like I will be sticking with 2009 then lol, thanks anyway bud, it's the best messenger theme I have ever seen, it was the first one I tried when I got Plus and nothing else compares

Norton is saying that site has many skins with trojans on them.

Yeah the only reason norton is flagging that site as bad is because of the optional sponsor program that Messenger Plus! has. I tend to ignore how norton flags websites because the majority of the time it is pretty deceiving.

But like ~privatepino I get the same problem, I patched it, trying a lot of time. I get no ads on the normal msn version but when I put yours the ads are here. So I tried to patching it, to unpatch, and to repatch your skin and it don't work. If you get a solution thanks !

I think the only thing missing is an option to hide the contacts managerbar from the contacts list, other wise it really is an awesome awesome skin keep up the great work.

I still have a question though, how did you manage to remove the ad at the bottom of the contact list? I've tried a-patch and mess-patch, and I'm sure I've used the correct version of the both of them, yet the ad remains sitting there at the bottom, annoying me... This skin is perfect imho, especially with the ad gone, just like in screenshot you made. Any suggestions?

Great work! I downloaded and installed this, it's working smoothly and I really like the new look. The only thing I miss is the standard appearance of the little messenger buddy icons; they seem a bit pale and pixely around the edges rather than smooth and solid like the ones in the standard version of WML. Other than that (which is after all just a personal nitpick

The skins database is being updated, not really much I can do about it, you will just have to wait till its back up again.

you need to install Messenger Plus! live in order to use this skin. You must also be running Windows Live Messenger 8.5.
Once you have these two things all you do is open the skin file and it will import automatically. When the import window comes up be sure to tick "enable skin after import".

Amazing skin except msn messenger plus 4.5 will not work with this skin. You have to have msn messenger plus 4.6. You should change that info in your deviation text. Anyway here ya go for all that need it--->[link]

i have messenger plus 4.60 and wlm 8.5 installed but after i imported the skin and restarted wlm it wouldn't open... i had to do a repair. y would this be?

This happens when the file did not download correctly and there is a piece missing from it. What I would recommend is just clearing your internet cache and re-download the skin and try again.

Click the "sort your contacts'" button (the one next to add a contact) and tick "Show contacts' details".

Please read the artists comment area as that answers your question about how to remove ad's. I'm amazed at the amount of people that don't do this.
Also reason why its not stock standard is because in order for the skin to be accepted in the Messenger Plus! database it needs to follow this guideline as put up by the creator:
"Skins that allow any of Messenger's advertisements to be hidden will not be accepted. Keep in mind that maintaining the Messenger network is neither free nor cheap for Microsoft. Advertisements are their main source of revenue, just like they are for us."
